Yes, the fan-dom is dying, (or it just dies time ago, however), but the reason about that is because we don't know how to defend us against these kind of people, and people like these can recognize the weakness from us so they can attacks us very easily, and since most of us just don't know how to react well against people like this and they find us like an easy target.
Don't blame the fan-dom, blame the people who actually join it and make it bad. Most of the people who begin to join fan-doms just do it to become popular easily, to leech, make fake friends and many other reasons.
Instead blaming the fan-dom try to find a solution. Why do you think that some pictures from this art-theft begin to disappear?, did you think they report by themselves?, no, someone report them and then they get erased.
Seriously, the art-thefts are not dumb as everybody think, they now what are they doing and how to do so.
So if you want to do something good, try to do it by yourself, I can report this person but I just want to see if someone else can almost try to do something, but instead of that nobody cares or give a f*ck .
Everybody must get over it by a once, it's not the fan-dom, the real problem here are the immature people who join it.
